Hey. You originally replied back to me on 1/4/2017:
Drain the fuel in the tank and get fresh in there, then add some Seafoam or Stabil 360...get it heated up for a LONG ride. hopefully, it'll clear. Consider yourself a victim of our modern ethanol fuel...which can break down in as little as a couple of WEEKS. Get in the habit of using the 360 with EVERY fillup...especially if the bike is going to sit.
Let me know how you make out.

Yes, the bike basically sat for about 9 months only riding one time since October.

Well you answered your own question to why it's not working properly now.
It sat for 9 months and you were told to stabilize the fuel with Stabil 360 if it was going to sit.
If you didn't use the 360 then well.... Guess what?

Your pilot jets have clogged up.

Davy-

Unfortunately shipping costs and your unavoidable VAT would combine to create astronomical pricing.

I appreciate your trust, but would urge you to seek out EX member jonh "over there". The process will become quicker, easier, more economical. He's more than qualified and a nice bloke to boot.

Perhaps start with a PM to him.

Thanks, Duc (Gordon)

link to a UK members "roll call"...a possible starting point to track him down. UK members rollcall!

then you've got the Brit EX forum http://www.gpz500.co.uk

Hey man, for some reason all of a sudden we can no longer communicate through PM. Twice now I have typed up long replies and sent them but couldn't figure out why they aren't going through. Tonight I got a message that says I can't send PM's.

It won't even let me reply back to you (says I can't PM anyone who isn't staff until I have 15 posts). So I guess I'll just have to post to my replies until I'm at 15 lol.

I purchased an older 90's K&N Air filter with a Carb stage 1 and 3 kit. It's a cool little thing I found on ebay, the dating on the box only went up to 97! I've installed the air filter already. I was due for a new one bad, and I figured I would get a K&N for $20 more in comparison to a cheaper style one. Do you have any experience in these kits? I know I'm not going to gain any crazy power off these, but I was curious to the typical experience from them. Since I'm due for a cleaning anyway I figured I'd install one of them.

I also have a set of carbs from an 82 nighthawk 650 I was wondering if you were capable of cleaning, and a price if you would.

Thank you,
James
