Maroon Ninja in Columbus.
Okay this is a long shot but here goes. It was Saturday 10/25 sometime between 3 and 4 pm. I was riding my Blue ninja along with 2 other friends (a black GXSR600 and a black ZX6R ) on 270 near Easton and 161. We were zipping through traffic and all of a sudden I noticed that there was another bike on our tail. We waved, the rider waved back and he joins our group for a few miles staying with the pack, but it wasn't till he pulled up next to me that I realized that he was on a Ninja 500 as well. It was Maroon and it looked like it was in immaculate condition. The rider was wearing full gear so I couldn't see a face but we rode next to each other for a minute on the highway checking out each other's bikes and concluding our inspections with a mutual thumbs up.
Then the exit for 161 was approaching and I waved him over to follow us so I can get to talk "Ninja 500" with him and find another local rider to join our Columbus ex-500 enthusiasts club but he signaled that he had to go. And with that he opened the throttle wide, got ahead of the pack and took the exit ramp for 161 in the opposite direction of which we were headed. The dude can ride....he leaned into that corner almost sideways then disappeared.
For a moment I thought it might be NERDZILLA, but he said it wasn't. So on the off chance that this mystery rider is already part of the forum please make yourself known. I figured anyone who keeps their ninja 500 in that good of shape and can ride it that well has probably at least visited this forum at some point.
