Some great ideas....

If I'm going to be riding in 100F+ for more than an hour...I pull this bad boy out... http://www.veskimo.com/ Expensive but worth it if you ride in extreme heat for more than an hour, especially in high humidity.

The portable vest+backpack looks amazing. That is exactly what I need in North East Texas with 100F+ and humidity so high you can drink the air. Even though it cost more than I paid for my bike, I'm considering it.

My biggest issue is the liner in my jacket sleeves. It's the same materials as one of those "slipper" sleeping bags and makes my arms sweat instantly which in turn makes the sleeves stick to my arms and it's crazy uncomfortable. Not sure why they used that material.

Enjoy the journey.
