47bhp washers

Just been thinking about getting a new bike this year when my insurance is up and was wondering if anyone had determined the size of washer needed for 47bhp? As when I finally sell up the old workhorse I wanted to have a set of 47bhp washers to include with the bike if the new owner has the new type license. If no one knows then I'm gonna find out for myself and post it up here for all to see
cheers

Re: 47bhp washers

I'm curious to know how these HP reducing washers work. Do they restrict air flow through the carbs?

yea the sit between the carbs and engine reduce the amount of air fuel mixture.

Re: 47bhp washers

Seems strange to me to make a good bike run like shit. Why don't the powers that be just restrict the size of engine for license restrictions?

Re: 47bhp washers

because cc isn't necessarily related to power a 250 2 stroke can produce 70-80 bhp or an equivalent 4 stroke 250 can produce 20 or 30 bhp

keep in mind whist you are " trying to understand" ...these people also drive on the wrong side of the road....some things are just to messed up to understand. :P

If it floats...flys...or f*cks...its cheaper to rent it.
