Eire Tour 2013

Alright guys,

Just got back from a short tour of Eire. If anyone fancies looking at my pics there's a link here:

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=362c67ea61

Some of you might recall me saying my next bike was going to be a gsxr..... problem is i'm now getting a great liking for 'goat track' type roads...... so it might end up being a GS or something similar.... not quite into green laning...

Just as far as Lisdoonvarna then back across to Dublin.

I did mean to so another day taking in the Galway hills / mountains, but bad budgeting and planning put paid to that.

Oh well, gives me an excuse to come back and do a Northern loop some other time.

Look's amazing Tommy. That road in pic 28 look's a little like the road down from Applecross. Some beautiful scenery over there, and, REAL Guinness,

Did you go alone,?

Re: Eire Tour 2013

nice ride great pics - i need to get out and go play this summer!!! for goat tracking youd be hard pressed to beat the KTM640 if you can find a decent one otherwise go for a 1150gs the new ones arent that clever or of course join me for the KTM990 and give me a shout when you go to PLAY!

If you are going to do something do it with conviction!

Re: Eire Tour 2013

Yup,

That road is on a pass over the mountain on the Ring of Beara - there is a 'fast' road around but I saw that a decided I wanted to go over.

I was meant to plan a group trip, but never got round to making any arrangements so no one else booked the time off work, when the time got to it I though Sod it, I've got the time booked off.... I'm going.
