wasted day

Spent all day wandering around Liverpool dock's today waiting for a form to be delivered so that I could complete the paperwork to have a vehicle shipped overseas. Bloody form never turned up, so the vehicle still hasn't gone....guess where I'll be tomorrow,

What I did see...half an hour after the damn battery went flat in the camera...was a green gpz500 in the P and O compound, a very nice bike in a striking colour, a sort of deep lime green, if it's there tomorrow, I'll go in and see who's it is...and get some pic's....camera is on charge,

OH...and a Dummy..

Re: wasted day

Been back today...no green GPZ...but I did leave contact detail's in the P and O office.
I was hoping to get a pic of it and find out just what colour paint it was, it's definitely not a green I've seen before, that I know of.

Re: wasted day

Yeah, all sorted, should be shipped today (sat).

Just off to work for a couple of hr's , then going to the bike shop round the corner. Went and had a look at this yesterday, taking it for a test ride this morning....as long as the weather hold's.

Have you been over Jeffery Hill on your way to Longridge,? the steep twisty bit at the Colne end is a cracker of a road.

Re: wasted day

We will have to get it down here once I'm mobile again, sounds like it just needs a bit of tweaking. Do you still need the clutch springs swapping,? might be worth making a day of it and doing everything, then nip over to the Barn for a butty.

Re: wasted day

In the states it's called MI-5. Netflicks has all 10 seasons. One reason I like it is because they are not afraid to kill off / make disappear the main characters.

For some reason it is a series I've never watched, not sure why.

ROFL, Healing my arse, I've been back today, got the all clear to ride as long as I'm in sturdy boot's and I take it easy, I'm throwing the bike back together tomorrow/Friday, won't be to tidy, but it will be ride'able. I can feel a bacon barm coming on already, .

I'm not going to go to far, and not going to be riding hard, but I'm going to be out Sunday, probably only to Devil's, if you fancy a run.

I used to go down there a lot, did some of work for ARLA/EXPRESS dairy's on Long Lane, Aintree. The day I was down there, there were some new locomotives on one of the docks (first on the right as you drive down) that had just come in from Canada, looked like they were being got ready to leave, probably going to Crewe Depot.

Nobody has been in touch about the green GPZ, which I'm a bit miffed at really as I would love to know just what colour that green is.

You will have to get up this way and have a ride with me and Danny.
