Cool beans. Because I've been saving up for a super super long time couple with my dad helping me out since I'm in college now and this summer I'm hitting up Seca, the Nurburgring, and now Suzuka. I am also going to the Isle of Man and going to try the TT road course even though I dunno if that's umm...legal to do unless it's race week. If not then I am going to go on BIllown Circuit.

God I love being a pilot.

Re: Who's raced what tracks?

What
Don't Canadians race?

I've run
Westwood (now closed, a wonderful track in suburban Vancouver with the famous "Bathtub" and wandering deer).
Chilliwack Airport
North Bay airport (a working military airport, cool planes taking off in the back ground. You look up at the end of the straight to get your braking points and SEE A F18 bearing down on you. FUN WOW).
Shannonville (half way between Toronto and Montreal. A parking lot with corner workers. Just point and shoot)
Mosport (just north of Toronto, one of the best technical tracks in the world. There is only one corner where you need brakes, the rest are just top of the gear and you better get it right or you're screwed for the next one. Mostly blind corners with elevation changes. A real roller coaster. I always come off the track grinning like an idiot. My favorite track.I've been riding it since the '70s and it has changed alot over the years)
Cayuga aka Toronto Motorsports Park (A fairly new track southwest of Hamilton, almost on Lake Erie. The is a new race league there this year. I've done a few track days there. Alot of people don't like the pitwall but I never saw a problem. It is no worse than the pitwall at Shannonville{that I have bounced off more than once}. Again a point and shoot track.)
I haven't been to Callabogie yet(west of Ottawa. A brand new CAR track. It was never designed for bikes so there's lots of armco. Other than that I've heard nothing but good things about the track)
We're well served with race tracks here in southern Ontario.
I highly recommend Mosport to anyone within driving distance, AND you can race an EX in vintage classes in both VRRA and RACE. (You'd have a devil of a time getting on the box BUT hey you're racing...right?)

Re: Who's raced what tracks?

TPM used to run Callabogie once in a while, but this year the track has an exclusive contract with a Canadian trackday club.

Re: Who's raced what tracks?

i'd be upset that pro6 has exclusive rights to Calabogie, but there's no membership fee, and the exchange rate makes it a bargain for US riders.

I'm hpoing to get there in July - definitely before the end of the year.
