Neighbor's EX500 Crash last night

Last night, Pretty Pillion and I were relaxing in the kitchen with the windows open when we hear tires screeching followed by a loud crash. I ran out outside to see a bike and rider laying motionless in the road. I do not know this neighbor, but have seen his bike once before: it is the dark red with a black chin spoiler. I believe he is of Indian decent and once he starting coming to, he didn't speak English. It took him several minutes to fully regain consciousness so I could communicate with him. Someone was on the phone right away to 911, I think she is the person who turned in front of him causing the mishap.
He has a broken left wrist and right femur. The bridge of his nose was open and it looked as if the cartilage had pulled away from the bone. He wore a full face helmet fortunately.

So, once more we are reminded of the dangers posed by non-attentive cage drivers. Stay safe one and all...

I always hate to see this sort of thing. The biggest challenge of street riding to me is enjoying the experience while at the same time being constantly vigilant, and even then sometimes things are out of your control. I hope he heals up quickly.

BTW, I love that nickname, Pretty Pillion.

Mmm... that blows.
Never a good thing when a rider goes down... inattentive drivers just make it worse.
Hope the guy heals quickly.
