Here is what $200.00 buys, three months of life, another $400.00 and endless hours looking at this forum gets you. It sat in the PO barn for 5 yrs + and was a total basket case (FUBAR). Here are some of the before and after pics. This forum has saved me countless hours and chasing down problems, I hope that someday I can repay the favor

;D, not my first color choice, but it does stand out that's for sure. I was thinking about this for a paint theme, what do you all think??? Yes to star trek, barbies' no, I married with a house full of kids, what can i say 8)
that's too fun I was thinking the same thing, even got some magnet sheets laying around here, maybe that's what the great pumpkin would ride if he could Charlie Brown ;D. And the FUBAR is from the movie Tango and Cash.
is that really where it originated? the first place I ever heard it used was in "Full Metal Jacket," but I assumed it was just another old military thing (one of those things the marines inevitably take credit for, and the army and navy contest )
bike looks great - i like the superbike style seat. Looks like the fat-ass race tail on my F2

just a quick update, dyed the teal stripe black, and inlayed some orange in the clutch and stator covers, and painted the chain guard too. The seat is an old Corbin Gunfighter.
Don't know for sure, i'll have to see if I can find out, if anything I'll take it over to a Paint shop and let them do that color scan thing, and let you know.
Ok went to NAPA today, and here is the code of the paint 42846, it's a NAPA paint code from a NAPA paint store, hope you have one close by, or cross-reference good luck. While I was there they said that now they can put it in a spray paint can, for about $15.00, how cool is that ;D something to keep in mind for touch up work
