Done a round trip to Santa Rosa with 53MPG

Yesterday, I was running an errand to SRCA, about 80 miles one way. By the time I went back to my favorite Chevron on Park St, Alameda for fuel, I got the fuel consumption of 53MPG(starts with 35 miles driven on this tank).

I must say, this result looks more "healthy" than before. But I am still preparing myself to get the valve clearance adjustment done.

Ride safe everyone!

Garage
You can attribute Chevron as part of the reason. I have found that Chevron or Texaco (same thing), is the best gas, for all my vehicles. It always ( or usually, because it is possible to get "bad" gas from them also) gets the highest mileage.

2006 Ninja500R Purchased new July 2006, 0 miles. Miles as of January 2017 88652. It is a GO bike, not a SHOW bike.

Thank you Saabnut for the kindly help! I'll wait till VCA done. Coz I was using the Chevron for the last 3 tanks(was using Chevron on A St Hayward b4), looking good.

So far I got two 14mm(ID) coolant tube o-rings and Iridium Denso Spark Plugs(IX27) on hand, the coolant funnel is delivering on tomorrow. Feeler gauge and necessary tools are ready.
