Removing Rear Axle
«

Hey all,
I'm taking off the rear wheel for the first time, and the trick is very limited space to work in. I've found the guide and know how to get the wheel off, to support the break (gonna shim the caliper too), etc... but it doesn't say which side it pulls out. Since the castle nut is on the right, I guess it should obviously be pulled out to the left. I'm just making sure so I don't have it ready to take out and no room to pull it.
Thanks

Yes, the nut separates from the axle and the axle is removed on the side opposite the nut. I can't imagine how it would work any other way.
