Hi mate! First off, love the mods, done nicely there. I actually found the forum via your website.

That 12v socket you installed into the power cable for your heated grips... Would you mind giving me a walkthrough? I've never done any electrical mods. I've bought this;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390147936774

As you can see, it comes with no wires e.t.c...

I'm assuming i need to buy some electrical wire with an inline fuse... Then, what do i do? Just cut open the power cable to my heated grips and solder this in?
Sorry, im a bit of a noob at this haha.

P.S. i already used your mesh idea xD Looks good! Thanks very much.
If you have a look at my website linked to in my signature, you can see how I did it for my FZ6. Basically, you can buy a fuse, the socket and wire with two rings and join it all up. Then you hook the rings over the battery. I would have someone help/advise in person if you've not done any soldering/electrical work before! The most important thing is that you have a fuse on the positive wire near the battery.

Frankly, chain lubing systems are a bit of a gimmick and IMHO dangerous. You're better off cleaning your chain every month with a brush and paraffin and then using spray lube in a can. Any motorcycle chain lube stuff will do. I buy whichever is branded and on offer/cheapest. I don't like wax as it's horrible to get off. If you spray the lube on with a can over the whole chain, it penetrates inside and gets where it needs to. Also, you'll notice loads of black gunge and dirt being washed off when you do it. It's important to do it straight after a ride when the chain is hot and do it all over with the bike on the centre stand. DO NOT DO IT WITH THE ENGINE ON OR IN GEAR!!!!! LOADS OF PEOPLE HAVE LOST THUMBS AND FINGERS DOING THAT! RETARDS!!! Then spin the wheel a few times to get it all over. It needs to be left overnight to soak in, otherwise as soon as you go above 30ish, it just sprays all over your wheel and slippery lube + motorcycle wheel = death. This will work many many times better than an automatic system and only takes an extra 10 mins a month to clean the chain and 2 mins a week to lube it. Chain oil from the automatic lube systems will not penetrate, will not cover the whole chain and will immediately be flung off onto your wheel.

Okay they're a bit easier to use, but they cost more, don't work as well and are more dangerous. End of.

It was instant metal stuff. Just check your local automotive store for something similar. Make sure the plastic is clean before you stick it on.
