OK new problem bike will run fine for anywhere from 12 to 20 miles then will start bogging and does this at any speed or throttle position, even when pulled over and stopped barely runs at idle, but if you shut the bike off and let sit and cool for about 10 minutes it will run fine for another 12 to 20 miles.
also while it is running like crap the tach is very erratic and jumping all over the place at first i thought it was a carburation issue until i saw the tach which makes me think it might be a electronic prob anybody encounter something like this before ?
oh and the running temp and gauge seem fine.

tank vent needs cleaned out. with no vent  a vacuum is created in the top of the tank, preventing gas from getting to the carbs. bike runs out of gas. you sit for a while, or open the cap and it breaks the vacuum, letting gas flow again. after 20 miles the vacuum is back and it runs out of gas again... repeat.

next time open the cap. you will probably hear it "pop" like opening a can of pringles or tennis balls.

do a search on here, there are pics somewhere of how to clean it.

i just re-read your thing, and didnt see the part about the tach jumping before...

thats a sign of an electrical interruption somewhere. could be the engine not producing a strong enough electrical charge when it's running crappy. could be bad connections somewhere too (battery would be the first place to look)

heat can cause problems in ignition coils sometimes too. if it gets too hot it may not work correctly.
