^ ZRX sounds great, effortless acceleration. Are those the 40's?

No stoplights, stop signs...road goes on forever! Quite different than my surroundings. However, you do have quite a few road "obstacles"....slow or no moving vehicular impediments.

Also noticed great number of 2 wheeled traffic.

Cool vid of a far away, different land.

No, I haven't installed the 40's yet as I need to modify a ZRX airbox to use with them, as pods just don't stand up to the dust here.

Bought the airbox, but need to source boots to mate the 40's to my modified airbox.

There is a guy who sells all this as a kit, carbs included, for a serious whack of cash, but he won't sell components by themselves.

I'm not in a rush, as will need a full exhaust system first. Saving for full K-Factory Ti

Love the sound of the big I-4, like a big, contented cat, just purring it's way along as you blow by the little two wheelers. I'd be leery of one of them swerving in front of me as I went by but it seems like they're pretty good at staying to the right. I know you have the only ZRX in Cambodia, but I'm beginning to think you also have the only fast bike there. Thanks for the video.

Actually, I discovered a ZRX S - faired model here.

So, no longer the only ZRX in the country.

And, no. There are legion superbikes in town, BMW, Ducati etc. Just not much over 250cc where I am.I am happily the slowest of most of my peers.

This is a better video of today's riding, if anybody is interested:

@jackal

Pretty cool.

Get rid of the traffic and buildings and it's a lot like where I'm at. Haha

ZRX has a nice sound to it.

Man, those roads do seem to go on forever. No stop signs, signals, or cross streets. Awesome.
I'm curious, how do the locals react to bikes blowing by them like that? Do they get pissed about it or do they just consider it normal? Or are you going by them so fast you'll never know? LOL!

locals all drive like maniacs anyhow. They don't care. I get old people and kids alike gesturing for me to wheelie lol!

Small/slow keeps to road edge. Bigger and faster go down the middle.

When a small bike wants to turn left it usually indicates right and pulls over to the right hand shoulder, stops, checks coast is clear and makes the turn. . .

This is a quiet road. I'll post some busy road videos another time.

^ Nice, looks like they ride better there, than they do here. A lot of times when some of the younger guys on bikes, see me on my bike, they don't give me a gesture to do a wheelie. They just cant help themselves and have to show me their wheelie skills, or sometimes endo stopping skills. Edit: They're maniacs here to the 10th power.

Wannable stunters.

If I were 14-17 years younger (I'm 33, going on 70) and a US citizen I think I would be one of them haha.

Only endo I pulled lately was to avoid hitting a damn dog

Back when I was riding dirt bikes, endo had a different meaning. It wasn't desirable, and was immediately followed by the "flying w".

Guess words like endo and stoppie/stoppy get used interchangeably round the place.

It had a different meaning for me back in the day also. One that I was all to familiar with, riding my BMX bike. I just try to keep up with the milinials/latter day gen x'ers.

I made another today. I really enjoyed this ride as it was scenic and challenging. I had to be on point for ugly gravelly areas where the road collapsed.

I hadn't been on the road for 18 months and knew it would be heaved and bumpy and torn in places from the past wet season. I didn't know where, but had a good idea as it's always the same spots that get done in year on year.

If you forward to 9:00 you see me tearing along and at 9:04 I brake to give the puppy time to clear me at 9:06. The look on his face was priceless!

I guess I should make a new thread for all this crap, but the forum is quiet as it is.

You guys split lanes where you live?

Heres how I drive in this city for the past seven years. Aggressive defensive.

First vid from city limits after two hour highspeed highway, heading to buy oregano.

Second from there to my mechanics shop for a BBQ.

HEAVY traffic.

Good clean fun.

Stealth cows are my personal major dislike.

Five sand coloured brahmin charlois cross trotting across the dual lane with a san coloured centre margin and sand coloured hard shoulders.

I was cresting 120mph. HARD brakes. Stopped and watched them cross. I swear I stopped in 7 seconds, but cannot prove it whatsoever!

Also, circumstances dictate that a lot of the best riding is at night, but one evening I was out too early (7pm) peak bug strike territory, visor done in 15km from each cleaning. Just saw the eye of a black cow standing in the black road inches from my helmet at 80mph, slight sway left and around and stop and buy bottled water to clean visor again. Flies tail off at 8pm.

Jackal's moto video clips.

I don't vlog, but I do shoot some clips, sometimes from my ZRX, sometimes on my dirtbikes.

This is a little 19m ride I took while waiting on a food order to be readied. I added some copyright free music on youtube. If anybody would rather the original audio; the same footage is on my channel titled "bike ride" with just wind, camera and bike sounds.

Here's a new clip. I had been without an action camera since my eldest kid "requisitioned" my old one.

Now I use a Nikon, seems to take high quality video, and looks good. Wind noise is an issue, however.

I'll update soon on that.

Done a bit since my last update, but have had a work/travel combination that took most all of the last month, and traveling again for three weeks next month. Target is on the road end of January.
