I've been looking into Renntec Crash bars for a while but I've come across an alternative ($136 CAD), and they also offer luggage racks ($150). Moto-Adventure-Tech, in Poland.

They carry a wide range, which makes me think they might be quite popular in Europe.

Here are links to a couple reviews for other bikes.

I will pull the trigger in a few weeks, so they arrive before spring season (3 month standard delivery, 12 day Express). Combined shipping is available to save costs, so if anybody is interested, let's connect.

Be careful with Renntec. Depending upon bike-model, design and construction is different. Over on Ninjette, we just had one fail at welds on 250 version. On Honda, tubing bends and needs reinforcement welded on. Now this could purely be due to overloading, no rack is going to allow you to carry 2nd-passenger...

Garage
I've got a Nonfango set up on my bike. I've not seen another 500 with these fitted. I've looked at that Polish rack before and am impressed by it. I might have to look into seeing if i can mount the Nonfango boxes to one.

It looks very sturdy. I'm talking to the supplier about adding a beam to the bottom of the frame (like the Renntec where it interferes with some kickstand) to help the pedals survive a lowside. He's open to doing that for a price, which is a great tbh.
