Lost my chain adjuster plate

Lost my chain adjuster plate, and locking nuts. Anyone have an idea as to where I can pick some up for a decent price? (Forgot to lock it in place when adjusting the rear, and it just flew off while riding) might get lucky tomorrow and find it lol I doubt it though. I live in Orlando Florida, just finished an engine/swing arm swap. Last owner didn't lube the chain enough and it snapped. Which put a giant hole in the block, bent the swing arm, and destroyed the sprocket. Make sure to lube up y'all 👉💦

And maybe even replace the chain every once in a while before they break.

Haha yeah that too, my chain is in good condition. So I'm not too concerned with replacement. Btw I still need the plate for the back of the swing arm. Is there anyway I could just cut a sheet of steel and make my own? Or is there anywhere I can pick up the cap?

Your local Kawi deal should be able to order these in for you. Any industrial bolt/fastener store should have a selection of metric bolts that will include these. Unfortunately only larger cities will usually have specialty industrial stores like these.

Another source is any Kawasaki Parts retailer online. Retailers like these (Bike Bandit, etc.) have parts fiches that allow you to look up the Kawasaki Part Number. Once you get the Kawasaki Part Number google for it to see what comes up.

If all you lost was the plate (and the 2 nuts), you can get the plate from a dealer for less than that complete set up on ebay.

For a 2005, the plate, washer and two nuts are 19.30 (plus tax and shipping) on Partzilla: https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/ka...0-d12/swingarm

Part Numbers for reference attached.
