k-woppa WHERE'S CONNIE?

K-

I don't mean to pry...but you've been curiously silent on status of Connie. Have you accomplished any stuff over the winter?

Did you do that wheel swap?

She operational, basically ready? Will you be riding this season?

Consider this your thread...inquiring minds want to know...pics, info, let em rip.

Well, sorry to disappoint you, but Connie's covered in a pile of sawdust right now. I had to use my garage for a wood shop for the church portico project I've been working on.
There's not much to report at the moment. Between a lot of hours invested in a job search over the last couple months and my struggles with winter time construction, I haven't even thought about it all winter. I have been glancing at it the last week, though. The lean winter means money is an issue, so I've still got the wheel conversion on hold. The wheel needs the rotor mounting surface turned down, then the new tire. If I can sell an old car part or two I could get it done.
It's operational, just needs a few small things. I will be riding it.

If I have anything noteworthy to post, I'll do so. Thanks.
