Hi! I just bought an '08 500r, getting my permit here tomorrow and will be riding around! If you see me somewhere dont be afraid to come up and say hi! I've got a black matte helmet with a gopro mount on top, a red jacket, and most likely carharts and brown boots until I get some pants.

Name's Tyler. I live in East Olympia next to raplhs thriftway

Re: Puget Sound Area?

Hi all. I'm in West Seattle. Really a Suzuki GS500 expert. This is my first Kawasaki EX500 (1992) so any help is appreciated. I do have a fully equipped Bike Cave if anyone wants to get together for some wrenching or rides. Vashon Island is my favorite place to go since it is just a short ride to the ferry dock from my Bike Cave.
I have a friend that keeps his Ninja 250 here. He is always appreciative of any help so he can learn more about it. He's a noobie and also shows up on pnwriders as do I.

This has been dead for a couple months but I'm from the Snohomish area, 5 minutes east of Everett. Anyone else out here?

Re: Puget Sound Area?

I still ride my 1989 EX500 often now that the sun is out. Solar powered bike here for sure, but it has been wet, cold and snowed on in its life with me too.
Usually I am dodging the Boeing Everett Harley riders who are rushing to punch their time clock.

Bike is mostly stock, black with red stripes and wheels, I only added a clock/bicycle computer and darker smoke tint windshield many years ago. Very reliable bike and most people think it is a lot newer due to how it looks.

I know this post is ancient, but I'm commuting on my Ninja from Marysville to Boeing in Everett.
