Re: how much do u pay for insurance?

I live in southern Ontario, this is my first year under insurance, I'm paying just under $3000 with Dalton-Timmis Ins. Co. for the bare minimum coverage. I'm 19, which is why I'm probably paying so much :P

state farm won't insure someone who has not held their g1/g2/g license for a total of 5 years minimum.
as for me: first year on a gs500f was ~$3700 and the following year on my ninja 500 is/was ~$2500. 18/19 m2 (just got it)g1 for the first year. 19/20 m2(for 1 year)g1 on the 2nd year.

I like to get home ALIVE not FAST.<br /><br />'04 KLR 650 55,500km<br />'02 Kawasaki Ninja 500 dead at 38,911.25km<br />'05 GS500F dead at 34,074.55km

sure they will, they insured me when all I had was my M1. the fellas from work went through them and told me about it. did my calls and found that they had the best quote. now the guys at my work are young early 20's and we pay the identical rates.

I just cant believe you guys pay so much for insurance...I have both the EX and the Virago 1100 insured thru Geicko ...full coverage...$273/year

If it floats...flys...or f*cks...its cheaper to rent it.

In Quebec,

got quoted for a ninja 650 (financed) , 10 000 km/yrs, all dressed insurances, 25 years old, 0 responsible accident, 0 claims, 1 ticket in 2011, 106 months of driving experience, 325$/years. La Capitale assurances inc. got quoted for the same driver, 90$/years for the same thing (except no financing) 2009 ninja 250r.

I heard that in Ontario you get freaked sideways in insurances, that sucks, but at least you (i think) don't pay like 1660$ in plates this year haha. (supersports, zzr/zx-6r/zx-10r h2/sx) (ex500 is about 660/yrs for plates)

**EDIT** I just got my ''learner's licence'' too, like last week, so i guess they don't care here about your license, as long as you have a good record in a car.
