Military squid

Hey everyone,

New rider here and I've been following and using this forum for most of my research once I acquired a half alive and molested 1988 EX500 for $500
Got it running and boy do I have some questions. This forum has taught me a lot and has brought me closer to my bike! Great stuff!
Guess you'll be seeing me in the electrical section for awhile tho now LOL

Welcome

Welcome from a retired military rider. Where are you located? Oh, from your forum name, are you Air Guard? If not, what is your branch? Sorry for the 20 questions routine. The term "squid" means something a little different if placed in a military context. .....sean

Hooah.

I used to work with a guy who spent his entire career there aside from a tour to Germany and a tour to Korea.

He was a Motor Sergeant....retired and came to work here as an Air Force civilian. Then he got a civilian job with the Navy in SoCal. You know, with the squids.

I did 23 years active duty Air Force....retired and got a job as an Air Force civilian. Been at the same installation now since 1995......sean
