Cheap Suit Recommendations

I bought my bike last Summer, and want to get into track days this season. My local track requires a 1 piece suit or a 2 piece with at least a 3/4 zipper connecting jacket and pants. All I've been riding with are textiles, which aren't allowed. I don't have a ton of money to spare right now, as I'm paying my way through college.

My question is: what's your guys' opinions and recommendations for cheap suits that aren't complete crap. I was looking into a used Joe Rocket one on ebay for $350, but not really sure.

Re: Cheap Suit Recommendations

For close to the price of a used, these guys have quite a few on closeout.

It looks like there are still large and extra large available.

Re: Cheap Suit Recommendations

^^^^^^ great suit at an amazing price. When you start going up in price you go up in amenities. Do you have a location/suit size (you need to be fitted)? I could look on the racer forums to see if anyone near you has one for sale (used or new).

Re: Cheap Suit Recommendations

Interesting. The only thing that I'm not sure about is that it says it's top grain leather. I've been told to look for full grain, as top grain is often stiff and lacking in abrasion resistance compared to full grain.

Urbane, I'm in WA. I don't really know my size, but I'm planning on going to try on some suits at a large bike shop next town over to find out. For some reason all the local shops here don't even sell leathers, much less 1 piece suits. I'm 5'10" 185, so I'm guessing around a 44 US? We'll see.
