Remove Center Stand For Track Day?

Hey Guys and Gals,

I've got another question about prepping my 500 for its first track day. I'm wondering if I need to remove the center stand. The group I'm riding with requires that, "If the center stand drags in turns, it should be removed." I've never had my kickstand drag in a turn, but maybe that's just because I haven't gotten the bike as leaned over on the road as it will be at the track. I'd prefer to keep the stand on, but obviously if it's a safety concern then it needs to come off.

So, have you had your center stand drag, either in on the road or at the track?

Nah at novice pace it won't be a problem. ALTHOUGH. It tends to drop down when under severe braking so I would ziptie it up so it cannot come down!
