Thanks for sharing, Ducatiman! I only read through a few pages but an excellent breakdown of a chain.

I noticed on page 5:

"NOTE
Avoid the use of steam, fuels, solvents, hard brushes or other methods that may
damage the O-rings. Also avoid direct contact with the battery acid as it could cause
small fractures of the links."


I've always used a Grunge Brush to clean my chain. Should I not do this

By "hard brushes", I think they're referring to wire brushes.

Agreed, perhaps the Italian factory assisted in this write up, some questionable translation errors? In reading, we must cut some slack in easily recognizable, questionable linguistics. Overall, a pretty good writeup, I'd say.
