Useful clutch spring tutorial but removal of cover with screwdriver?

Great tutorial on replacement of clutch springs.

Was a bit concerned about use of screwdriver to remove the clutch cover though. If you use a soft mallet and gently tap around the cover to loosen it, you won't damage the gasket so won't need to replace it or clean gasket surface.

Hope this helps.

Thanks mate. Didn't think I could make changes.

Hey man- does your dog sit in your tankbag? Does she like it?

if you do perchance damage the gasket, you can just use some RTV instead

No prob. it is a community wiki, and if anyone fraks with it there are backups that the admin can restore

yeah i put a small cushion in, usually a towel, and she lays on that and i zip it up to her neck and she loves to ride with me, gonna put some more pics up in th picture thread in a bit, on sunday i took my buddy and his brother-in-law up one of the local mountain rides for the first time and she tagged along, we got stuck behind a douche doing 35 in a 50 zone for a bit and I didnt want to start passing since the brother in law has only been riding for a month, anyway while we were stuck we were agonizingly bored and my dog (Eva) kept turning and looking up at me with a "what the frak? FASTER" expression on her face. i have another dog (Chance) about twice her size that loves to ride even more than she does but he is a little too active and tries to walk around and stuff so i have to go thru a bigger hassle to ride with him, i dont mind it but it does cause him to not get to go as often since with Eva i just have to put her in and zip her up, Chance I have to strap him down in a different tank bag that i can tie his leash to in a certain way so that he cant crawl out of the bag
