brake caliper service

i'm looking at the tools required on this page and the 10mm and 12 mm open wrench don't ever seem to be used... are they necessary? I don't have these parts and need to know if I need to buy them or not ( I don't believe they're in the required tools list either) ...look below

Re: brake caliper service

If you don't own a 8 and 10mm open wrench and you're working on on ex, man I don't even have words for that.

Unprepared is the word he was looking for.If you intend to do ANY maintenance on your EX...You need 8mm...10mm..12mm...14 mm in both wrenches and sockets...as well as both Phillips and straight screwdrivers ( with good tips...not rounded)...also a decent hammer . This is bare minimum...there are many other tools that are useful but without those listed you are getting nowhere.

If it floats...flys...or f*cks...its cheaper to rent it.
