First off, welcome and congrats on the "new" salvage you picked up.
Now, ummmm........ what DRL on the rear are you talking about?
These bike's rear turns don't light up unless the turn signal is activated. The rears use an 1156 single filament bulb. There are only two wires to each signal stalk on the rear. A positive and a ground.
Only the front turn signals are on to act as a bit of additional lighting. They use an 1157 dual filament bulb like the tail light/brake light.
They're on the lower setting in normal operation and flash brighter when the turn signal is activated.
The fronts have three wires, one positive for the "parking light", one positive for the actual brighter turn signal flash, and a ground.
If you have more than two wires for either of the rear turns, you have the wrong signal stalk back there
