Wiki Style & Ettiquette

Just wanted to start a thread where we can talk about these topics. My first thought on style is that I'd suggest that anyone making significant contributions or edits does what they can to model contributions after those found on Wikipedia. I'm learning myself, and am finding that peeking at good, well-referenced Wikipedia articles is a great way to learn.

Also, here's a couple of good articles to read:

Re: Wiki Style & Ettiquette

I added these 2 links to our "How To Create a New Wiki Page" article.

I also drafted a couple of rules for potential authors of wiki articles. Let me know what you think --
1. If you contribute an article, leave your name at the bottom so that you may be identified for feedback

2. Do not make significant edits to an existing article without the permission of the original author. Minor edits or improvements are fine, but at least consult the original author before making major changes.

3. We only need 1 article for a given task. Please refrain from writing a guide for a task if there is already an existing guide. If you think you can write a better guide, take to one of the Wiki Admins or the author of the existing article.

4. If you are unsure as to whether you should write an article or whether an edit you would like to make is acceptable, Ask in the wiki discussion section!

5. The best guides/tutorials have pictures. If at all possible, please include pictures of your process, following in the form of the existing guides in this wiki.

Re: Wiki Style & Ettiquette

Since it was mentioned in the first post of this thread but not since, I'd like to add this one:

Symptom -- Dead battery, poor charging, unregulated voltage low or absent on one or more generator phase(s)
Problem -- Flywheel generator magnet(s) damage
Solution -- (I'm hoping someone will tell me )
