Re: another rejet question

those cams are different also...so the jets that are in the carbs are probably fine.

If it floats...flys...or f*cks...its cheaper to rent it.

Re: another rejet question

3sp6-

If you understand jetting (how and why) you will be capable of determining whether that particular Vulcan's carbs NEED to be tweaked.

DO THEY?

Re: another rejet question

sounds like you need to adjust the pilots to 2.5 out and tune from there.

Re: another rejet question

just wondering, why is it useless to rejet an ex500? and what would adjusting pilots to 2.5 benefit? i'm not challenging anything, just curious.

Re: another rejet question

So, I live in an area that does emmissions testing...will the FOG mod effect that?

Re: another rejet question

Nevermind, just found the info. Diesels and MCs are excempt from the emmissions testing. MCs do require an annual safety inspection though. PAIR removal and FOG mod, here I come....in about 3 weeks that is...lol. Almost out of this hell hole...aka...Afghanistan.

Re: another rejet question

Rico,

I've got a cousin overthere working on Preditor drones. He bought one of those CB125 copy bikes the Talliban rides-with the rectangle headlight. He got in a little trouble; something about "catching air" over a hill and the base commander...lol He shipped it back in boxes.

PM me when you get back.
