Carbs fuel lines and hoses

Hello! I'm new to the fourm and like all of you I've decided to buy a ex500 well the one I bought has issues its not starting and seeing as when I picked it up off craigslist the guy told me it wouldn't start which I don't mind fixing it so I went into the air box and seeing as its a 2002 I don't think the air filter has been replaced or any part of it cleaned I opened it up and started cleaning it and it literally had rocks and dirt in the filter so I'm praying that the jets are clogged stopping any dirt to get info the engine my main question now is what is the tube I'm holding and how does one properly clean the carbs on it I know I'm in the fourm an I am looking at it but this being my first carb rebuild and my all of the tubing was in place properly I would really like some help figuring out where the tubes all go and where the tube I'm holding goes I know it's alot to ask but thanks in advance! Turns out my pictures exceeded the limit but the line went to a container on the upper right hand side of the bike

Re: Carbs fuel lines and hoses

look in the wiki for "where do these hoses go".
