Air pilot hole crb leak?

I have cleaned my carbs and replaced jets and float needle. I can't get gas from leaking from what I think is called an air pilot hole from the airbox side of carbs. I spray carb cleaner and it is hole that is connected to needle jet. What else do I need to check nor clean? Is this still a float problem? TIA

yes, due to a high fuel level within the offending carb (s). Proper name "air correction jet", one for the main, one for the pilot circuit. They are pressed, non replaceable.

There are instances where folks have drilled them larger...obviously not a reversible "mod".

Does that mean I need to adjust the float? I also replaced the float.

yes, adjusting the float height affects the working fuel level within the bowl.

see if you can set yours to the seam at bowl and body (the red line, correct for the 500) . i think you'll find yours much higher if its bleeding out out the correction jet.
