Exclamation LOOKING for CARB 500r

need a good working 2009 or 2008 ( i believe those are the only two years with the same part number) Carburetor.
starts but when you give it gas it bogs down and out,m even at idle. Help please

Hi Greg and welcome!

You need thorough carb cleaning & refurb. Unless you buy brand-new OEM carburetor from Kawasaki dealer, any carbs you buy will be used and will perform exactly like yours. They will also need completely tear-down and restoration back to factory-fresh condition.

Search for "clean carbs ducatiman" on this forum to see what's needed to do full restoration. Then you bike will run like it's brand-new off showroom floor!

Had the sMe issue kinda of lol. Ducati man fixed me up on the carb side switch definitely need it , but I also had a holed diaphram on the petcock. Bike idled fine ,but would fall on its face with throttle.
