Purchased in July 2013 as a non-runner. Very neglected by her previous owners. Brought back from the brink of an early grave by my husband and myself.

1989 Kawasaki EX500 (Blue/Black/Silver)
Modifications
Drivetrain
Tires replaced, rims painted black, and blue reflective wheel tape was added.
Interior
Removed and cleaned sludge from oil pan, replaced flywheel, chain and sprockets. Added Delkevic cans.
Exterior
Repaired cracked side panel pieces. Replaced Front fairing, front fender, and tail section. Only original panels are side panels. Eventually all body panels and gas tank were removed for repaint.
Audio
Fork seals replaced, shock replaced, swing arm removed and painted.
Suspension
Seat cover replaced, broken levers replaced, heavy bar ends and new grips were added.
Custom saddle bags, and a tail bag were made by me out of coolers. Rear rack was made from aluminum by my husband.

Wheel and Tire
Bright driving lights were added for night time riding on back roads to spot critters.
