Bought this bike about 3-4 years ago. My first bike after taking the MSC. It was on this bike I learned to ride. Also learned a fair amount of wrenching.

Adjusted valves and synced carbs
Replaced chain, front and rear sprockets with a kit I got from Motorcycle Superstore. I think it was by DID. Huge improvement. I think the chain on the bike when I bought it was original equipment, therefore about 10 years old at the time (9K miles)

Exterior
Fairings has been cracked and shattered when previous owner dropped it; though they had been repaired to some extend, I went in with ASB cement and made more detailed repairs to stiffen them up.
Audio
Replaced OEM monoshock with the shock used on later-generation Ninja 250s; new one has pre-load adjustment and is slightly stiffer; huge improvement in handling.
