i just got this bike a few months ago and its been running like a champ i love it and i try to ride every day thats its not raining but the other day me and a buddy went out riding all day. at he end of the day the bike had a couple of hiccups in as it would drop like a thousand rpm's a then raise right back up. i really didn't think much of it but the other day coming home from work it started again but more frequent (sp), and then it died on me but cranked right back up. then yesterday i cranked it and let it warm upo and durring the warmup it just cut off so i cranked it and every thing seemed fine but as i tried to leave the yard it bucked a couple of times then just died. it will crank but it runs like crap. plz any help would be appreciated.

My first check would be the plugs and wires coils etc. if that doesn't show any wrong check your fuel tank and lines for blockages, crap in the tank, try cleaning out the fuel petcock as wellthe prfices are small and it dont take much to clog them up. also try checking the airfilter, make sure it's clean and oiled correctly.

Look for loose wire terminals, or plug-ins.
Look over the wires for cuts & any signs of pinching.

If one or several electrical connections are loose or damaged you can get some really infuriating intermittent problems.

Just for the record, you doled out your hard earned cash when you bought a new bike over a used one. Anything covered by warranty (like a loose ground) doesn't cost you anything but your time.

I'm all for anyone fixing their own bike, it's the only way to know it's right. Just know that you don't pay for warrantied items on a bike within the warranty period.
