Anyone want to ride this weekend or next? Gotta get it in before the weather gets too cold.

Yesterday someone knocked my bike over and my brake lever broke. Also got scratched up in a few places. Ordered a new lever, but I think I'll just keep most of the scratched up parts on it for now.

Whether there is other interest or not, I generally ride east every weekend.

Tomorrow (Sat the 7th) I'll be attending the yearly Bridgehampton Historical Society Road Rally

Very interesting race, collector, vintage, exotic cars in attendance. In years past, I've jumped on the tail end of the road rally, too. It follows great backroads, some the actual, old street race course (prior to 1953).

at Bridgehampton Historical Society grounds today...a 1915 Model T caught my eye, a Packard, 300SL Mercedes Gull Wing, a '68 Shelby Mustang, multiple, tiny 356 Porches...interesting cars. Conversing with very nice, well-to-do owners. My newer Ducati was not only complimented repeatedly but surprisingly...photographed too (albeit via cell phone).

Pictured..the 102 year old Model T....owner claimed the first year with electrical powered lighting, prior used acetylene! Cloth wrapped wiring, very interesting. Note the oooogah horn!

A very relaxing, fun day.

Likely my last ride for '17 today, brisk, cool, windy at the beaches of North Shore Long Island. Quite a few bikes out, actually.

SS800 as it sits for '17. Its' now tweaked to where I want, I'm done. Its comin' indoors very soon.
