Been trying to do this for quite some time :).

Well the day turned out to be sunny and a nice day out... And not to much traffic :) .
I managed to get a early start so i would get around all 3 lake's but had plan's to do the 4 main lakes in north Wales if i had the time and my back would hold out so got to Ruthin only to find the cafe by the little bridge is now a Indian restaurant... So the day did not start out to well.
So any way after a tinkle and a smoke of to Bala for a brew... The weather out my drive to Ruthin was a bit dull and damp but as soon as in reached Bala the sun was cracking the flags so the drive over the top to Lake Vyrnwy was so nice but a little damp under the tree's... I had just turned up the B road at the bottom of Bala town when i noticed i had not put my camera on the bike so i stopped by a small stream and noticed a small black bird on a stone in the stream and suddenly realized it was a Dipper NOW AFTER SPOTTING 2 RED KITES over Bala this was turning out to be one of the better day's :D .

After leaving the dipper to his lunch i started to think about my own lunch and where to eat at Lake Vyrnwy and the remembered that one of the lad's of the Versys 650 site saying the was a small cafe half way down the left hand side of the lake so that was where i was going to have lunch if i could find it.
Nice ride the the lake with out seeing another car or bike... Nice. Now lit's see if i can find that cafe :) . As it was it was not to had to find HA HA just look for the sign  . Now the lad that told me about the cafe had said carefuller on the road up to the cafe as it's on the ruff side and had had nearly had a spill on his way back down to the main road so slow and steady i went.
Got to the cafe and it was worth the risk the owner met me in the car park and told me the was some flatter ground just around the corner of the cottage and said take a seat in the tent out side and he would take my order ?... Tent ? i thought!!! Well i now why the view is to die for and so quite.

Lunch now done and the ride back down to the main road on my mind i set off... The track has some pot holes and in parts grass down the center and was still a bit damp so i chose to ride down one side but half way down the was a pot hole on my side so i skipped on to the other side only to have the back let go and punt me off the other side of the track  i just managed to get her stopped before i dropped the bike for the second time in a month.... and no i never made a mess in my pant's    .

So off the the dam end of the lake for some pic's and off to my next Lake... B road full of sheep and sheep and sheep s***e so my arse was twitching all the way down the the main A road. Now having spent most of the time on small B roads it was time to have a bit of fun and stretch the bike's legs so Trawsfynydd came into view far to soon and still feeling peckish i stopped at the cafe at the old power station for some tea and cake.... YUMMMM.

So full of tea and cake and having looked at the time i thought i would and fit Lake Brenig in as well on my way home... So a blast down the A5 and up on to the road that takes you up to the Lake... Now this road is very well sufficed and has only a few junctions on and so take it as read very very enjoyable.

Home was same as the norm  BORING ;) Motorway :( :( .

Pic's of the day :D
