Hi All! Just got my endorsement two months ago at 54. Has been a bucket list item for many years along with a dream of owning a Ninja. Well, today I made that dream come true. I bought this new to me 2007 500r!

woooooo keep at it!! it's such a great first bike. i recommend nick ienatsch's book sport riding techniques to all new riders, it does a really good job of explaining motorcycle handling and ideas and riding tips from a former pro racer turned instructor. can download the pdf online here, but there are some nice big color photographs if you buy a real copy. highly recommend!
