Got the new front tire mounted. It went easier than I expected. I can't believe they charge $50 to do that. I will hold off now to see if it holds air for a while.
Any excuse to stop and play on the computer will do. 😄

With 3 on road bikes, legality is paramount. I just registered, got the all important, New York state color coded '24 stickers put on all 3 license plates....I'm ready to rock, just anticipating warmer weather.

The province where I live has just (as of last spring) eliminated the license plate sticker once and for all. Patrol car dash cams now scan any plate that comes within its field of vision and the onboard computer compares it with a database of currently registered vehicles. When they get a hit, the gumballs come on, and the fun begins.

Very big brotherish. Worse than photo radar, IMHO.

It hasn't happened yet, but it will be interesting if/when I cross the border and get stopped by a US cop for no sticker or having an expired one that I haven't got around to peeling off yet.

that has been the practice here for about 10 years.

It's a 42-tooth sprocket that's part of a new RK chain and sprocket kit going on.

OEM lower fairing on its way, heat shield, o-rings and bits to make shiny ready to be worked over. Water pump seals and gaskets. Lots to be done over the next few weeks.

In those parts, I am going to try to polish up are actually EN500 clutch cover and water pump housing, and a replacement stator cover that does not have rash... along the way check/adjust valves, and flush and change the oil / antifreeze.

Already removed the Airtech lower fairing. I actually have both (the one I bought it with and the one I bought from Airtech) I will be listing on here later. Just an FYI for anyone looking to buy those I do not care for them at all, and consider them a waste of money but willing to sell them away for cheap + shipping. (Please doo not ask about here and clutter this thread, I will list them soon in the for sale section soon enough)

Finally got around to doing a test start after the valve check today. All systems go on that front. Just about got things wrapped up. New chain and sprockets are on. Only things left are a chain adjustment/wheel alignment, rear brake pad replacement, and a minor fairing repair. Shouldn't be long before I'm reviewing the BT46's. 😄

I did have a couple of other things I was wanting to do going into the winter. But that's just going to have to wait until next year. Holy crap, it's the middle of March. o_O

94’ model above pic from last season when I bought the bike, the bottom pic in it’s current condition. It was running a little rough, to be expected since it wasn’t on the track for the past few years. What I’ve done:
Drained and cleaned tank - rebuilt petcock
New break pads
New coolant hoses and tubes that go into the block
New airfilter and cleaned the airbox
Changed fork seals & oil
Professional rebuild of the carbs - Ducman
Valve adjustment
New lower fairing and fender
Yet to do:
Paint the new body work
New plug wires
Put the thing back together
Zip it up with safety wire
Enjoy the races

Oh man I hope my panels come out close to that color. That's sick a.f. looking.
The pic definitely makes the bike look good, hides the blemishes. I got new AirTech lower fairing and fender to make it look original. Not sure what the old ones were but not original. Since it’s a track bike I was thinking I could paint them but the new fender looks like s%#*!
Post the pic when you get them back.
