Re: Canadians!

I still rode mine into work today! I'm not putting this bike away until there is salt on the road. Or my fiance makes me...

I also am in Kitchener-Waterloo.

One of these days I'll cave in and do all the winterizing, but it seems like there are a few more days of good riding weather left.
Where abouts in KW? What does your bike look like, I may have seen you before. I actually have yet to meet anybody from KW who rides...having no friends that ride either is boring!

I'm a lonly rider, haha...

Rides usually start a couple blocks from the Aud, and end up who-knows-where. Out to Stratford for a cup of coffee is probably the most frequent.

Looks kinda like:

I love the EX but I got the itch for a 4cyl, so I've been toodling around for the last week or so on:

Re: Canadians!

Still have your EX then?

That's a nice looking bike. I'd love to upgrade, but I've yet to come close to the potential performance of the 500. Once I master the 500, I'll move on :)

I can't bring myself to part with the EX. It's a great bike, and there are many many miles to go before I have her mastered. It's a different sort of ride than the yzf600, for sure, but both of them are a tonne of fun in their own ways.

Re: Canadians!

Nice, well maybe we'll meet up next season for a ride. And if you decide to sell, PM me, I've got a friend looking for a bike next season and I'm pushing him away from 600's and towards a 500.

Re: Canadians!

Welcome to the board. I'm just hoping I can find time for a ride before it's too cold. Made it out for about 45 minutes last night, and was pretty balmy given it's mid-November.

Re: Canadians!

Hey all!

I'm up in Ottawa as well, put the bike away (in Peterborough) on the weekend... I guess I will spend the winter reading over mods and tips to work on for next season! This was my first riding season, and a good one at that!

Cheers,

Dave

Re: Canadians!

Welcome to the board Dave. Our Canadian section will soon be active enough to rival all the US sections! Bwu-haha!
