In order to ensure everyone a happy trading experience, we ask that all members adhere to the following rules when posting in the classified section:

If You're Selling

• Price must be stated. (EXCEPTION: Part outs)
• An informative and accurate description must be provided. Pictures are a plus.
• No linking or referencing to auction or advertisement service websites. (means you can't list here, and link to an ad you placed elsewhere)
• No dealers, or resale of new products.
• Do not list non-motorcycle related items. Please use the Garage Sale section for those items!
• You must be the actual seller of the items listed. No 3rd parties!
• a 15 post minimum required to allow member usage in posting within the For Sale Classifieds section.

If You're Buying

• Do not hassle sellers or other posters about price, quality, or availability of parts sold inside their threads. The seller is asking, you're either buying, or not.
• If you want to negotiate, please do so via private messages.

In General

• EX-500.com will not be held liable for anything bought or sold through the classifieds section.
• EX-500.com reserves the right to delete any classified post, for any reason.
• If you have any issues, please contact the Moderation Team, the seller/poster, and/or the Administrator.

Been seeing an increasing amount of sellers (and random repliers who have no interest in the classified to begin with) not adhering to these rules lately, so i'm bumping this to the list in hopes you read and remember these. I'd rather not start deleting posts or classified ads outright for violations, but if i doesn't improve, don't be surprised if it happens.

Don't post within a classified if you're not interested. Bumps to the top are fine, but do not start picking the ad apart openly within the classified. If you have a question or concern, bring it to OUR (Administration or Moderation team) attention, and we will address it.

Adding a new rule under the IF YOU ARE SELLING .....a 15 post minimum required to allow member usage in posting within the For Sale Classifieds section applies. Of course an immediate exception exists in becoming an authorized forum Vendor.
Going forward this should not affect, nor impose any hardship whatsoever for established members.
And as always, buyer beware.

Suggestions......incumbent on sellers to advise (by posting) when your single item is SOLD, thus enabling "housekeeping" on classifieds

Generally, for sale posts will be deleted if A: over 1 year old or B: no activity from poster within that year
