man. that was simple. all i did was tie one end of the old cable to the opposite end of the new cable. pulled it thru, and just put everything in place. took a whopping 10 minutes. im sure it can be done in less than 5 w/o a problem.

as far as tension, i set it right about the middle, maybe more towards the tight side (its gonna stretch a little). not too tight, not too loose. perfect!

this was about as easy, if not more so than an oil change.

btw, cable is made by motion pro. shipped from ebay, to my door for just under $28.

mine wouldn't be so bad if the previous owner wasnt a hack. I have a "full" fairing which covers the engine. i hate taking it off.
