I did not want to try and revive a 3 year old thread, so I figured that I would just start my own.

New rider in the Colorado Springs area, and have owned my 99 ex500 for about 4 months. In that time I have performed just about every basic mod and maintenance found in this website, and have my bike running like a top. (Next up is spring cutting).

I have the tools if anyone in the area needs help on the basics, and can read and scratch my head with the best of them on the more advanced stuff.

The weather has been "iffy" for the last couple of weeks, but next week it starts looking better and better.

Are you ready to ride, and if not, are you needing any help getting there?
