Think this stuff would work for our windshields?
Are there cheaper options? (coating the backside of the windshield is preferred, yes?)

at $27.95 a can, i'd rather buy a new sheild. yes the back of the shield is prefered, that way it wont see as much damage durring normal use.

do you just want a tint job? is that why you're considering this stuff?

No, I bumped into it while looking for touch-up paint for my 2005 candy blue 'Saki.
Just trying to find an inexpensive but high quality way to replace the crunched fairing.
The fuel tank has a scrape on it so need touch-up paint.

well look elsewhere.  that stuff is for tinting plastics like the signal lenses, headlight bulbs and assemblies, and windshields.

have you looked at colorite yet?

I wasn't going to use it to paint the metal. I bumped into the site & looked at teir product for the purposes mentioned earlier. Seemed like an interesting possibility for those who customize.

Had trouble getting any Google hits for "colorite." Turns out that it's hyphenated.
