Oh yeah.  bought it @ 3500, traded it for 3400 @ the Honda Dealer. it was pretty beefed up to! Rashed up lower from running to hard, scuffed up engine case cover from a tip over, broken brake lever, aftermarket pipes, windscreen, brake lines... i think i did well.

88 EX500 and 92 FZR600R. Picked up the FZR cheap when the EX was down, finished the EX rebuild and never got back to it. Thinking about selling the FZR and goin back to the EX for a main.

The way I wound up with EX-500's is because of my three kids starting to ride. I ride one of them at the track occasionally as an instructor bike but it's still totally street stock and license plated. I will street ride it, too. Re-sprung, it's a fun little bike.

My main street bike is a '90 CBR-1000F. Keep one EX-250 and two EX-500's primarily for kids. I still have an '86 Gold Wing that was primarily for two-up riding but will probably sell as I don't have occasion to ride two up now that the kids are on their own bikes. My track only bike is actually the newest and lowest mileage one, an '04 636. I just finished it up with new track plastics and paint a few months ago. It's a hot rod! 8) ;D

My '91 EX has taught me a ton. My daily rider is currently and '01 SV650S. I'll likely be parting with the EX soon. A co-worker of my SO just passed her MSF and is smart enough to not ride her husbands R6. Will likely get nearly what I paid for it.

hey red-leg is that a c-50? both my parents sport those as their bikes, man are they comfortable any kind of distance for me on one of them and I think I could damn near fall asleep on it.

Yep, an '05 C50. Great bike, though I'm having a lot of fun on the wife's '89 EX500 lately! ;-)
