I agree with having our own forum. It's much better. I also like the freedome to post links to other web sites or just say what you want to say without being cesored, within reason.

When a link to this site was posted on the DIY site it was imeadiately erased by the moderator. That and a few other things made me give that site the middle finger and come here.

To me, this is the offical site of the EX500 and the true successor to EX500riders.com .

MODERATORS EDIT - THIS LINK WAS EDITED BECAUSE IT CONTAINED CONTENT FROM Super Sneaky Steve. HE'S A BIT SHIFTY AND HAS BEEN KNOWN TO POST LINKS ON OTHER SITES. /Royson :)

Well said (and thanks!). Very true about links being deleted on other sites... one of the above kawi forums deleted a link to us too, so my first thought was to return the favor. But we don't want to be like that :)

If anyone is on "brother" sites (ex-cousin?) and finds some good ideas, references, or hotlinks (not the sausage), then I bet a lot of folks here would benefit from sharing the knowledge. Eh?

WTF? Why would they do this? Is there any legitimate reason? If not, how very very disappointing and sad.

Maybe we should all become spies eh? Multiple usernames for each one of us. And keep referring to this site. Keep the mods "over there" busy. ;)

I think some guys are just dix when you give them a little bit of power. That and it may come down to money. They don't want members going to other sites because they would lose out on the advertising dollars.

Anyway, here's a good site with reviews of the five hundee and any other bike you might be interested in. It helped me choose my bike.

I think you guys should write a review to help other potential buyers. I did my 18,000 mile review early this year.

It's considered Free Advertising guys. If venders are paying the admin a fee for advertising on their site, then along comes a thread advertising something without paying... that's not very fair to the venders, is it?

I agree with the forum on this one.
