E. Nebraska W. Iowa riders?

Did a little searching for those of us in Eastern Nebraska & Western Iowa.
This track is located a few miles south of Council Bluffs, Mid America Motorplex.
They have intro to track riding days sporadically through the spring & summer.

I'm coming down to Omaha this coming weekend, and I'll be riding my bike around during the day when everyone's at work. Where are all the fun roads at? All the ones that I drove my car on in West O were destroyed and replaced by movie theaters, subdivisions, and Walmarts :'(

Maple street is FULL of traffic lights now. I can't think of any E-West streets that'd be fun.
N-South... 156th North of Maple is nice... get's to countryside fast.
Any of the state roads leading to/from the city seem pretty nice.
Be alert- some city streets can still have sand on the low-side corners (washed out w/ the rain), and there are some enlarged cracks & potholes out there, some w/ broken pavement.

I think I'm just going to head west of the city towards Valley and then loop north and figure it out from there. Back in high school I used to cruise Dodge and then head over to 144th between Maple and Center. Maybe I'll check that out at night when everyone else is out.

I've been on 156th JUST north of dodge... there is a little bit of winding road across that bridge or whatever. That was pretty fun when there wasn't traffic. I'll have to stay on it next time and see where it takes me.
I also like Military Rd from like 108th out West... takes you out to Bennington where you can get on HWY 31 and HWY 36 which are also kind of fun. You can use HWY 36 to loop back around to 72nd, get on Sorensen Pkwy, then back East to Military for a nice short trip. I also know there are some fun roads out towards Ft. Calhoun I've been meaning to revisit since I've gotten the bike (they were fun in my car... should be even more fun on the 500).

Yo dudes, I just picked up a 2000 EX500 last week. I'm sure I'll be hittin up WeSt O this weekend getting a better feeel for riding. I take my MSF next weekend out in Lincoln, so I've just been riding around trying to stay upright until I get my endorsement. Let me know if any of yall wanna ride...later
