Finally after year and a half its back to idling like champ. Bike literally runs better than it did when it was new with FOG airbox mod and idle mixture screws 2.5 out. Thank you everyone for sharing your thought. For me the guitar wire is what did the trick if you have your carbs apart make sure you use it on your pilot jets otherwise you might as well not do the work yourself its that crucial

I usually use fishing line because I haven't found a friend with some guitar string I can steel some from.. heh. I'm usually able to clean up pilots pretty well by soaking in carburetor cleaner and then dropping into the ultrasonic, working the fishing line through, and giving a good blast of compressed air.

Sometimes though, even when the orifices are clear, the brass slots come out pretty mangled and can be one loosely fitting ham-fisted screwdriver attempt at removal from breaking off. If that's the case, new pilots can be decent peace-of-mind.

I decided to replace this one recently since I didn't like how the slot was looking despite having installed it back into the back for a while and it working fine. Main jets I rarely replace unless I'm changing jetting. I've learned my lesson with any non-OEM jets though--Don't do it.

Thank you so much for sending me that piece of guitar wire, made my day I was so excited I could barely sleep.

Please tune your pilot screws 2.5 turns out is only a starting point
close one screw completely the adjust the other for best throttle response( raise the idle to keep from stalling)
thebclose thar jet counting the turns to stop. Then tune the second screws as the first.
finally return the first screw to the tuned position.
then rest idle if required
