Any bets on when the first ridable day of the year will be? I am gonna guess march 24th...cause it's a Saturday and that would be just perfect... counting the days...

Well, I'm hoping for the end of February. As long as it gets into the forties I'll give it a go. I'd like to get out a little before the first track day, VIR, March 9th. At least that's in southern Virginia so there's a chance it'll work. 8)

Cold snap is supposed to end within a week (if they're at all accurate this time.)

So, once I see asphalt, I'm going to be booting around town to visit friends or go to the gym.

I won't be commuting or taking trips till likely Mid-March. Hoping it's sooner than later though, as driving my car (and paying for the gas) is driving me nuts.

Well, this post is about a month old now, and I don't know about you guys in the East, but I'm in the BC interior and my girdt day out was March ninth. I saw someone said it, well played. I've been quite surprised actually, it's been just warm enough to ride and I haven't bundled up any more than usual, riding pants over jeans, and jacket with the quilted liner in. There was even a few bikes out on the roads before me. Now we just wait for the street sweepers to make it safe. Peace.

The snow has finally melted, and the temp was decent today; so it was the first day of riding for me this year. My God have I missed it.

I didn't ride too far today . Bu I did find a bike resort thats only a few miles from my house out in the sticks . Boy the look on all those Harley riders faces (150-200 of em') when I pulled up on a sport bike , priceless. I didn't know if I should stay or run like snot . They didn't try to kill me , but they didn't exactly embrace me with open arms either .

We get a fair amount of harley/cruiser riders in our shop. They are the worst type of customers, they want to see/touch/try on everything, but they won't buy anything! And then their are the jokes about how it "Stinks like rice" in our store...winners
