Hello I'm new to this site, looks like a good place for ninja 500 owners. I have a 1990 ex500 and the previous owner smashed up the front signal lights and replaced them with some cheesey 5 dollar stick ons. So i went ahead and changed them to bright amber LEDs. Now the blink rate is too fast, i've tried messing with all kinds of resistors in different setups. They all get really hot or only half the led's array come on or not at all. So i decided i'm just going to change the flasher relay to one without a bulb failure indicator. Forget to mention that i'm trying to slow down the blink rate.

Has anybody else done this, what model relay did you use, where did you get it from, how did you set it up? Any advice would be greatly appretiated, i've looked at every autoparts store and nobody has one that'd work. I'm about to go insane.

Great thanks, i looked up electronic flasher led 3 prong relay. Only sites i could find were all American and in south cali. I'm Canadian eh. So i had to pay 20 USD to ship a 10 dollar part here. Plus they're gonna rape me with tax. Now i have to sit here and wait 8 weeks to get my part. I hate this suply and demand BS. Everytime i need something nobody has it.

I tried that in google, too much random garbage came up. Either way i've been looking for 3 days now. So i'll just get raped for the 30 or so canadian dollars, won't have to waste time looking anymore haha.
