I recently bought a 2000 Ninja 500R and I'm putting new tires on it.

I've already ordered a shop manual online but it hasn't arrived yet and I'm putting my wheels back on this weekend.

So does anybody know the proper torque values for the front and rear axles?

Thanks,
Heinz

Front 88 Nm or 65 lbs. ft. Rear 110 Nm or 80 lbs. ft. That really really tight, you want to keep those baby's on there.

Thanks.

I appreciate it.

One more value I forgot to ask about was the front axle pinch bolt torque.

The'er little bolts just tighten them a little. Not more than 10 lbs ft.
